So, I've been at my new job for about two months and I finally thought to post something about it. I went through 4 months of hell before I finally landed this job. I was gonna take a demotion just to get the heck out of that wretched place, but I guess I'm very fortunate, I ended up with a promotion! Yay! I swear, for all the years that I've come to the "grown up" world, that four months of job search made me realize that I'm part of this world. Can you believe it? I've never looked for a job before. I just get hired right on the spot. It was weird those four months, but I felt really alive as well. Seeing that wretched woman's expression when I gave her my resignation letter was just heaven! :P

I would say that I'm fortunate to have experienced that four months of anxiety. I've learn and understand so much from it. The best part of this experience is you see who truly are your friends. My department went through a major reorganization, and we had a change in management. At first, it was still ok, and that dumbass respected me. But once she realize that we won't swear loyalty to her, she started targetting us. Another thing is, she can't stand people smarter than her. Talk about inferiority complex! Ha! Anyways, I could've left earlier, taken a lateral transfer, but the dumbass used some dirty tricks and gotten the department that verbally offered me the job to withdraw. How dumbass can you be? If you want the person to leave, why stop them? That is how fricking dumb she is. Anyways, it took me another month or so, and I finally landed my current job, and it has to be a promotion. So in her face!!! Hahaha!

Anyone has a good reference picture of Barbara Yung as Wong Yung? Can't seem to find good shots of her on the net. Please note me if you have a good reference of her that you can send me an electronic file. If you don't know who she is, don't bother. :XD: Too lazy to explain.

Ok, finally up to posting something about my New Year Resolution. I'll keep the Personal and Financial to myself, as I'm sure, no one is really interested in what they are about. :XD: There are a total of 5 project on my list, but I'll just concentrate on #5 in this journal as I used Deviantart as the means of tracking it.

The goal of project #5 is to give me a variety of practice on a somewhat set schedule so I don't indulge myself on any particular subject, which is the tendency for me. The number in the parentheses are the minimum that I need to do.

#5: Different project per month

January: LSP digital sketches (25)

March: Animal sketches (20)

New Year resolution

Sun Jan 1, 2006, 10:47 AM
It's that time of the year when people write new year resolution of what they want to change or accompolish. What are your new year resolutions?

I had my new year resolution seperated into three different categories: Financial, Artistic, and Personal. I'm coming up with a list of 5 items per category to accompolish for this year. Once I've achieved all the items per category, I'll reward myself with a little gift. If I achieved all my financial goals, then I will get myself a Nikon D50 (or equivalent if they come out with another one that I like) camera. Already wanted one for last Christmas, but I'll hold off until the end of this year. :XD: I haven't thought about the artistical and personal rewards yet. Actually still writing my goals for these two category. :XD:

Good luck to everyone for trying to achieve their new year resolution! We all need it!

I spent the last few days, 4 days, because I get two days off for Christmas, on Gaia Online participating on their Christmas event. I have no life. :XD: At least, I also drew alot during the glitch times. ^_^

I need to go back to my hiking. :XD: Rainy season, be gone!
